Shakti Sutriasa – Executive Director and Teacher
Prior to founding The Willow School in 2004, Shakti Sutriasa worked as a teacher, administrator and educational consultant since 1991. Her experience has taken her from coast to coast, working both in Florida and California. She also taught high school overseas, at an international school in Hong Kong, China. Shakti holds a Masters Degree in Education and Curriculum Design from Michigan State University and earned her undergraduate degree from Boston University. Shakti has traveled extensively and still considers that her favorite hobby. She also loves to ski and to express herself creatively in writing and artwork. Email Shakti

Govinda Reinhalter – Administrative Director and Teacher
Govinda discovered his love for teaching in 1976 at the Oakes Children Center, a special education school in San Francisco, California. Govinda moved to Florida in 1978 where he continued his work with special needs children. As a third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and certified yoga instructor, he has also taught martial arts and yoga to children and adults since 1980. Govinda earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Barry University in Miami, Florida and served as a Vice President at Macho Products, a manufacturer of martial arts protective gear for 13 years before returning to teaching in 1997. Govinda has since taught elementary and middle school, and from 2001 - 2004 directed the River School elementary program in Roseland, Florida. Email Govinda

Brooke Mullins – Science and Math Teacher
Brooke Mullins received a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida and interned at P.K. Yonge Developmental School in Gainesville, where she worked in a multi-age classroom. Brooke teaches math and science to the 4th - 8th grade classes. Outside of school, Brooke studies martial arts, and holds a black belt in Karate. Email Brooke

Felicia North – Teacher Aide
Felicia graduated from Lincoln Memorial University where she received two Bachelors’ Degrees, one in English and the other in Fine Art. After graduation, Felicia moved to Takasaki, Japan where she taught English as a Second Language for one year, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, writing, reading, and sometimes even American culture. Felicia is an aide for our K - 3rd grade class. Email Felicia
