The Willow School, in Vero Beach, recognizes that it can be difficult for parents to pay for a private school education especially in these economic times.
Willow has recently received scholarship funds from a grant. Please contact the main office if you are interested. For more specifics, you can download here
To be considered for a Willow School scholarship, follow the steps outlined below:
- A FACTS scholarship application (available from our office) must be completed and submitted by mail or on-line.
- FACTS typically requires 2 to 4 weeks to review your application.
- When The Willow School receives the FACTS analysis, we will notify you of your scholarship award. FACTS evaluates many private school scholarship applicants nationwide.
- These awards are typically $1000-$3,500.
The Willow School is certified to accept state scholarships even though we are a private school. Below are two your family may be qualified to receive. These scholarships typically pay all or some portion of tuition.
McKay Scholarship – Students with an IEP
Children who have an Individual Education Plan (I.E.P.) and have been enrolled in a public school for at least one year prior to admittance at The Willow School are eligible to receive funding toward a private school. In other words, it is a scholarship to attend private school.
These awards are typically around $5,000 per child. Please keep in mind that many children who have an I.E.P may need supplementary services such as tutoring or work with other educational specialists. Depending on the award, these costs may be additional.

Step Up For Students – Low Income Scholarship
This is a need-based scholarship fund and is available to families who meet the financial criteria and are interested in sending their children to a private school but need scholarship money. A child must either be entering kindergarten or have been enrolled in a public school for at least one year prior to admittance to The Willow School. The award is currently approximately $4100.00.
