Gina Battle
Gina Battle has lived in Vero Beach since 1999. Before moving to Vero Beach she attended New York University and worked for HBO in New York City. Gina has been involved in numerous successful business ventures and currently is the owner of the premier chocolate shop in Vero Beach named, “Faith, Hope and Chocolate”. Gina's two children have attended this private grade school and she has served on the Board since 2006.
Vickie Colón
Vickie Colón moved to Vero Beach in 2010 from Boulder, Colorado where she was the Development Director for Shining Mountain Waldorf School. Prior to that, she was the Event Coordinator at that school. Originally from Illinois, at the age of 19 she was eager to explore and became a flight attendant with Northwest Airlink. A few years later she accepted a management position with Lancôme Cosmetics in San Diego where she was until she left to start a family with her husband. The flexibility of his job allowed them the privilege to search coast to coast for the right school, and they found The Willow School, where she is excited to contribute her skills in fund raising and event planning.
Lisa Ferrari Desmond
Lisa has lived in Vero Beach since 2008. She spent many years working in the music industry, in various roles: as Vice President of a recording studio, traveling through Europe with jazz artists, and as a tour accountant for recording artists. She attended Montclair State, majoring in Psychology, but left short of completing her degree to focus on full-time motherhood. She currently works with her husband, Leo, an attorney in Vero Beach. Lisa also has a local radio show, “Lisa and Leo LIVE!”, which airs weekly from 5-7pm. She is currently attending IRSC to complete her degree in Psychology. Lisa has a son who lives and works in Cupertino, California.
Edi Finamore
Edi Finamore comes to Willow because of her passion for children and education. After working as a college professor and high school Spanish teacher for nearly ten years, Edi founded Spain Adventures in 1999, an active travel company. Spain Adventures customizes tours for people who are interested in learning Spanish in an “authentic environment” or visiting Spain. In addition to running her company, Edi holds a Ph.D. in Spanish Literature.

Katie Kirk
Katie Kirk has lived in Vero Beach since 2003 and is the Vice President, Legal for Daland Corporation, a restaurant management company. Katie has sat on the Government Affairs Committee for the International Pizza Hut Franchise Holders’ Association since 2003. From 1998-2003, Katie served as a Director and Secretary for Seagull Industries for the Disabled in PBC. She has also served on committees at the St. Edward’s School and was the Entertainment Chairperson for the American Cancer Society’s Ball for several years. From 2005-2010, Katie served on the Board for the Mental Health Associ. in IRC. Katie has a son at Willow and a son in high school.
Sharon Seldner
Sharon Seldner has lived in Florida since 1986. She is the owner of Beachland Millworks, a Vero Beach Business that does custom woodworking and cabinetry. Sharon has deep love for all things water: boating, skiing and windsurfing. She is also passionate about Willow's mission and is a member of the Bags & Bubbly Committee. Community work is also important to Sharon and she volunteers with Youth on a Mission, the Samaritan Center, St Helens and Holy Cross. She is currently a member of the Exchange Club of the Treasure Coast.
